Colleges and students

For colleges and students

Raghu registered Marpu Foundation at 18, so his work with students is practical: how to start, how to volunteer well and how to build a career with purpose. Colleges can invite him; students can read, volunteer, intern and ask.

For colleges

Sessions that leave students with a next step, not just a good feeling.

Guest lectures and resource-person sessions

On social entrepreneurship, CSR, careers in social impact or starting an NGO, for any department.

Fests, annual days and convocations

10 to 30 minutes

As keynote speaker or chief guest, in English, Telugu or Hindi.

Inductions and orientations

30 to 45 minutes

A first-week talk about using college years to build something real.

NSS, NCC and volunteering clubs

60 to 90 minutes, or a camp visit

How to plan service projects people come back for, and how to measure them.

E-cells and incubators

Session or series

Social entrepreneurship sessions, pitch feedback and mentoring.

Faculty development programmes

Half day or full day

Community engagement in higher education and working with NGO partners.

On campus

For students

Four ways in, starting today.

Volunteer

Join a Marpu Foundation programme in your city, from lakes to classrooms.

Intern

Internships with Marpu’s programme, partnerships and communications teams.

Ask

Book a short one-to-one call with Raghu for career or founder questions.

Read before you decide

Free, and written for students.

For organisers: after the session

Small things that help students find the talk again.

  • Share photos and tag @raghu4change on LinkedIn or Instagram.
  • Publish a short event report on your college website with the speaker’s name, the topic and a link to this site.
  • Send the audience the reading list from the session.
  • Pass on feedback, good or bad. It shapes the next talk.

Good to know

Can Raghu come to our college?

Very likely. Send the date, the occasion (guest lecture, fest, induction, NSS programme) and the expected audience through the Connect page.

Is there a fee for college events?

Tell him your budget honestly. Student-led events are considered case by case, and travel needs to be covered for events outside Hyderabad.

Can I intern or volunteer with Marpu Foundation?

Yes. Internships and volunteering run through marpu.org, which lists current openings and programmes.

Can I start an NGO while I am a student?

Yes, and Raghu did. Start with his guide for students and what he wishes he had known at 18.

Can I ask Raghu for career advice?

Yes. Short one-to-one calls can be booked on Topmate. His writing on careers is free on this site.

I registered Marpu Foundation at 18, with no plan for the paperwork and a lot of conviction. If your campus wants a session that ends with students knowing their next step, invite me.

Student organisers are welcome to write directly.
