Marpu Foundation
Marpu Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization in India that runs volunteer-first CSR and community programmes. It was registered in Telangana on 6 July 2019 and is based in Secunderabad, Hyderabad. Marpu is Telugu for change.
Its programmes cover the environment (lakes, Miyawaki forests, clean-ups), education (school revamps, libraries, scholarships), health (camps and blood donation), livelihoods and skills, solar power for public buildings, and disaster relief. Marpu works with a community of more than a million volunteers and 250+ partner companies across 23+ states, without foreign funding.

KRV Enterprises is the enterprise arm for the businesses Raghu builds and backs, kept separate from the nonprofit by design. Marpu Foundation’s money, accounts and decisions stay with Marpu.

No. OurVolunteer.com is run by Volbiz Philanthro Private Limited, a company. Marpu Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization in India. They are separate legal entities; Raghu founded both.
Where do donations go?
Donations go to Marpu Foundation through marpu.org. Marpu issues receipts, and donations are eligible for the deduction under its 80G approval (Income Tax Act, 1961; now Section 354, Income Tax Act, 2025), subject to tax law.
Can our company do its CSR through Marpu Foundation?
Yes. Marpu Foundation is registered on Form CSR-1 (CSR00050243) as an implementing agency. Start at marpu.org or write to connect@marpu.org.
